Location: Slough Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) ECTs: Not suitable for ECTs The Role The school is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join a dedicated Key Stage 2 team.
You will teach Year 4 pupils , delivering a broad and engaging curriculum that challenges and inspires learners.
Key responsibilities include
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons for Year 4 pupils. Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress to ensure all learners achieve their potential. Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and support curriculum development.
Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. Communicating effectively with parents and carers to support children’s learning. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – no ECTs for this post.
Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 , ideally Year 4. Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks. Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
