Job Description JOBPURPOSETocontributetothedesign,deliveryandperformanceofcommissionedyouthtrainingporgrammes. Toensuretheprovisionofanengaginglearningprogrammewithintherelevantsubjectarea. Toprepare,deliver,assessandevaluatethecoursetothespecifiedstandardrequiredbytheserviceandtheAwardingOrganisations.
Toensurethatadministrativeproceduresrelatingtolearnerandclassdeliveryarecompletedaccuratelyandtoagreedcompliancebasedtargets. KEYRESULTAREAS1.Todesign,deliveranddevelopappropriateandrelevantlearningtopromotepositiveprogressionoflearners2.Planthelearningandassessmentprocesswithlearners3.Torecruitlearnerstotheprogramme4.Inductionincluding,meetingandgreetingalllearners,completingallrelevanteligibilitydocumentationdeliveringthestructuredinductionsessionandmakingsurealllearnershaveaclearunderstandingoftheprogrammeandfuturegoals.5.Todeliverpersonaldevelopmentworkshops6.Responsibleforthedeliveryandsuccessfulcompletionofarangeofagreedqualificationsasperprogrammespecificationinatimelymanner7.Tocollaboratewithkeystakeholders,partners,employers,trainingproviders,andsupportagenciestoensureeffectivereferralprocessesontotheprogramme8.Tobuildandmaintainpositiverelationshipswithlearnersonaone-to-onebasisandgroupwork,motivatingandencouragingthemtofulfiltheirpotential.9.SupporttheManagertoembedacultureofachievementinthestaffandyoungpeoplewhotakepartintheprogrammesensuringhighretentionandtobeabletoaccessexitroutes10.Tomanageweekly/monthlychecksofallcontractualperformancetargetsincluding(butnotexhaustive):performance,contractual,qualityandcomplianceaccuratelyandwithinagreedtimescalestoensurethatcontractrequirementsaremetandfundingismaximised11.Tomanagethemonitoringandcompletionoflearnerreviewsandtheprogrammesoutcomes12.TobeawareofandimplementtheCouncil?sEquality,Health&SafetyandSafeguardingpolicies13.Undertakeotherrelatedandreasonableduties,commensuratewiththesalarygradeandlevelofthepost.14.Totakeresponsibility,throughtheSafeguardingpolicyandprocedures,tosafeguardalllearnersonprogrammePERSONSPECIFICATIONQualificationsESSENTIAL:EducatedtoaminimumNVQlevel4orequivalentinarelevantsubject?PTLLS,IAG,PGCEorequivalentteachingqualification?
