At Oxigent Technologies , we are looking for an Electrical Commissioning Supervisor to participate in an international commissioning project for a power plant located in Heilbronn, Germany . If selected, your mission will be to lead the commissioning of the plant's electrical systems , ensuring the proper execution of tests, equipment energisation, and coordination of the different stakeholders involved throughout the commissioning phase.
What will your main responsibilities be? Prepare and execute test sheets , verifying cabling, continuity, insulation, and electrical protection systems . Perform control parameter adjustments , as well as no-load and load tests on electric motors.
Supervise DCS signal exchange tests , both under normal operating conditions and emergency situations. Lead the first energisation , first synchronisation , and Grid Compliance tests . Identify and resolve issues related to electrical system programming and field connections.
Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and suppliers , providing technical and administrative follow-up of the activities. Participate in the final testing of the systems and support the training of plant operators .
What are we looking for? Technical degree or Electrical Engineering degree (or equivalent professional experience in the sector). At least 5 years of experience in similar roles. Experience in commissioning electrical systems , motors, turbines, drives, and DCS signal testing .
Experience in power plants or industrial process plants involving high-voltage systems. Knowledge of electrical protection systems, circuit breakers, power electronics, and control systems . Fluent English is mandatory. German is a plus.
Strong leadership, organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills , with the ability to coordinate teams on site and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Availability to work on-site in Germany . Be registered as self-employed in your country of residence .
