Redstone Commodity Search are working with a European, international energy products trading company who are looking for an experienced, commercially minded, demurrage and claims analyst to join their team in Hamburg. Key Responsibilities / Tasks Analyse relevant documentation to prepare accurate laytime calculations and demurrage claims.

Manage and prepare all documents, and justifications, to pursue claims or escalate as needed. Approach claims with a commercial mindset in order to financially optimise the demurrage process. Flag any recurring discrepancies to streamline operations and amend and enhance contract language Role reports to the Head of Operations Key Qualifications / Experience 2+ years working in maritime transport and logistics.

Strong experience working in laytime and demurrage analysis and claims Exemplary negotiation skills and ability to structure and articulate arguments. Capability to be rigorous and detail oriented in a high-pressure environment Role is to be located in Hamburg
