Legal Counsel

Hunter Philips Executive Search is partnering with a leading international renewable energy developer to appoint a Legal Counsel to support the continued growth of its German business. Working alongside the Development team, you will provide legal support across utility-scale wind, solar PV, BESS and hybrid energy projects throughout the full project lifecycle.

The Role

Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts including land agreements, EPC, service and cooperation agreements. Advise project teams on permitting, planning and renewable energy legislation. Support project acquisitions, disposals and legal due diligence.

Assist with project finance transactions and corporate matters. Draft joint venture agreements, shareholder resolutions and corporate documentation. Provide commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders throughout project development.

The Person

Fully qualified German Lawyer (2nd State Examination). 5+ years' legal experience. Knowledge of project development, permitting and corporate law. Fluent German and English. Experience within renewable energy, infrastructure or a leading commercial law firm.
