Citizen required /li liValid driver's license required /li liBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Community Planning, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university /li liMinimum of seven (7) years of professional facilities planning experience /li liExperience supporting military installation planning, capital improvement programs, or federal facilities planning /li liComprehensive knowledge of the Navy Shore Facilities Planning System (SFPS) /li liExperience with Navy enterprise systems, including iNFADS, PAX, iEFACMAN, or similar government planning systems /li liStrong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate engineering, planning, management, and economic data to develop practical planning solutions /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams /li /ul h3Position Overview /h3 pFutron is seeking an experienced bFacility Planner /b to support NAVFAC EURAFCENT planning initiatives throughout Italy and Bahrain.
The Facility Planner will develop regional and installation-level planning documents, support military construction (MILCON) and Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) project development, maintain facility planning documentation, and provide technical planning expertise for Navy shore infrastructure programs.
This position plays a key role in ensuring facilities planning efforts align with mission requirements, long-term infrastructure strategies, and NAVFAC planning standards. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop regional infrastructure plans, planning studies, and strategic planning documents supporting Navy shore facilities throughout the region. /li liPrepare and maintain Installation Development Plans (IDPs), Capital Improvement Plans (CIPs), Master Plans, Land Use Plans, Installation Appearance Plans (IAP), and Antiterrorism/Force Protection (ATFP) planning documents. /li liPrepare and update Basic Facility Requirements (BFRs) and Facility Planning Documents (FPDs) while maintaining accurate planning records within iNFADS and other Navy planning systems. /li liConduct facility asset evaluations and update property records to ensure planning and facility data remain current. /li liPrepare site approval packages, supporting graphics, and documentation while coordinating the review and approval process with government stakeholders. /li liProvide technical planning consultations related to facilities planning, land use, accessibility (ADA), and installation development. /li liDevelop Military Construction (MILCON) project documentation, including DD Form 1391 packages, project scope, planning documentation, site plans, cost information, and supporting analyses. /li liDevelop Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) project packages, including project validation, planning documentation, site approvals, environmental coordination, and supporting project data. /li liCoordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, environmental staff, Public Works Departments, and Supported Commands throughout project planning and development. /li liSupport planning studies, budget development, data calls, congressional inquiries, project reporting, and other planning initiatives. /li liReview planning documents, engineering studies, and project packages to ensure compliance with NAVFAC standards and mission requirements. /li liProvide planning support for special projects, facility modernization initiatives, tenant improvements, and infrastructure investment planning. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience supporting NAVFAC, U.S.
