ppWe are seeking Lightning Protection Technician’s to support operations on global projects. Reporting to the project manager site supervisor the Lightning Protection Technician is responsible for the day-to-day planning, coordination and control of LPI projects.
The purpose of the role is to install lightning protection and earthing systems on a variety of structures across all forms of private, public, industrial, commercial Data Centre sectors. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's success. /p h3What you'll do /h3 ul liInstall lightning protection and earthing systems on Data Centres and variety of tall structures.
This will involve working to pre-designed schemes including drawings, a risk assessment and method statement. /li liUndertake upgrades to existing lightning protection systems to specified instructions provided. /li liAccurately complete Company paperwork including point of work risk assessment, job sheets, marked up drawings, material schedules and timesheets and ensure this is returned to the office-based team. /li liProvide onsite communications and advice to either the client or managers of a project, ensuring the Company is professionally represented at all times. /li liMaintain a strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards at all times, ensuring all work is completed in a safe and compliant manner. /li /ul h3What you'll need /h3 ul liProven experience working within construction industry or in a similar environment /li liElectrical experience is advantageous but not essential /li liExperience working on commercial and industrial projects. /li liExcellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills. /li liGood knowledge and commitment to health and safety standards and protocols and good knowledge EQHS Management System. /li liFluency in English; proficiency in additional languages such as German Dutch, French, or Spanish would be advantageous but not required. /li liSafe Pass /li liManual Handling training. /li liWorking At Height training. /li liIPAF training. /li /ul h3About LPI Group /h3 pSince our establishment in 2011, Lightning Protection Ireland and Lightning Protection International have delivered cutting-edge lightning protection systems, earthing systems, and surge protection devices across the European data centre, pharmaceutical, commercial, and renewable energy sectors.
