Accountant

Job Description Swift Temps are recruiting an Accountant for our client based in Deeside. A fast growing design and manufacturing business.

The Role

- an experienced accounts candidate to take ownership of the finance function and sit alongside the leadership team. You will run the day-day processing, own the ledgers and turn data into the management accounts, project costings.

Input and control all purchase invoices, sales invoices and bank posting in Sage 50Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain robust financial controlsMaintain AP & AR ledgers, ensuring accuracy and timelinesRaise proformas and sales invoices for orders and projectsLoad supplier payment schedules and issue remittance advicePrepare payroll inputs (timesheets, overtime, expenses)Manage credit limits and insurance limitsOwn credit control end to end- chase outstanding paymentsManage debtor days and escalate overdue accountsResolve invoice queriesPrepare monthly management accounts, including P & L, balance sheetsLead month end and year endProduce stock valuation reporting in conjunction with operations stock countsProduce project costings for live and completed jobsIdentify margin erosion and cost overuns earlyManage relationships with contractorsNegotiate variations with contractorsConfront and resolve site delaysWe are looking for:-Qualified or part qualified accountant, AAT, ACCA, CIMA, proven experience with CIS and the VAT domestic reverse charge.

Sage 50 experience essential, ambitious and driven, highly organised, accurate and comfortable owning the numbers with minimal supervision. Salary £35k
