AI/ML Computational Scientist Manager

Overview

As an AI/ML Computational Scientist, you design and operationalize AI solutions for enterprise clients, combining custom models with cloud services. You own the full lifecycle from problem framing to production-ready systems, including data pipelines and MLOps/LLMOps. You apply DL, Gen AI, and LLMs to real business use cases, and you collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions. This role offers impact by shaping AI deployments at scale and advancing innovative compute methods.

Responsibilities

• Formulate real-world problems into scalable AI/ML solutions
• Develop algorithms and scalable data pipelines for training and production with DevOps & MLOps
• Customize DL and Gen AI models for business needs, including edge/HPC contexts
• Engage in R&D of AI and HPC algorithms and simulations for client applications
• Work with large-scale datasets and data preprocessing for high-quality training input
• Implement and maintain efficient data storage and retrieval for models and knowledge
• Justify model approaches to business problems
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to achieve end-to-end production goals

Key requirements

• Proven experience as a machine learning engineer or scientist deploying models in production at scale with monitoring and auditing
• Strong foundation in computer science, system architecture, and programming
• Experience with distributed computing and cloud-based AI/ML deployments
