Alliances are a critical element of the go-to market strategy for the firm. One benefit that EY leverage with many of our alliance partners is the participation in investments or Fund Development Programs who makes available funds for partners such as EY to support solution or PoC development, Marketing or other demand generation activity and other purposes that benefit both EY and the Alliance partner.
Funds must be monitor and manage in adherence with EY Policies and Regulations, along with those program requirements defined by our alliance partners. We have the opportunity to participate in new programs as well as continue with existing programs in which we are enlisted.
The Alliance Investment Manager will be responsible for the stand-up of new programs, manage the extension of these programs into new countries/regions, and monitor the activity once approved, to minimize the associated risk.
Your key responsibilitiesDirect alliance teams interested in participating in an investment program, managing the approvals across GCO, Independence and Alliance LeadershipOversee the execution of Investment programs so they are in accordance with EY PolicyCoordinate with regions and countries looking to leverage existing programs to ensure they have the proper contracts in place and appropriate financial mechanisms to intake and utilize the fundsOversee GDS resources providing reporting and transaction level supportEnsure Ecosystem Tool leveraged for managing alliance and ecosystem activity, is kept up to date and is accurateCoordinate with Independence as needed to ensure that any transaction level activity requiring additional reviews are in compliancePromote the benefit of such programs to enable proper usage across EY as appropriateThis role is optimally based in the Europe.
You can anticipate a mix of virtual work along with regular coordination with other team members across Global and across the Globe. The role will require some travel. Skills and attributes for successTo qualify for the role you must haveAble to juggle many activities and provide enablement services in the areas of contract management, financial management, governance oversight, operational support, strong relationship building skills and is highly organizedExperience in alliance management or consulting services for technology or professional services companyExperience in alliance investment or incentive programsStrong networking and influence management skills resulting in driving actions to outcomes and delivering results actions across organizational boundariesHighly credible communicator with excellent organization and project management skillsIdeally, you'll also haveBasic understanding of technology and business benefits of alliance and ecosystem relationshipsWhat we look forA self-starter who is able to work independently while also communicating progress and challenges with others on the teamComfortable escalating complex issues with recommendations to leadershipStrong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in support of multiple projects at a timeComfortable working with others within EY with unique personalities, cultures and working styles and can adapt your approach to best interact.
