Job description: Role Title: Investment Manager Location: London Contract: 12 Month FTC Working pattern: Hybrid About the Role To develop investment business and ensure good client outcomes by building strong relationships, managing client portfolios and contributing to the growth of the firm.
The role involves leading client relationships, delivering excellent service, and actively participating in business development, mentoring, and internal initiatives. It marks progression from the Associate role, with increased autonomy, strategic input, and commercial awareness and impact.
What youll be responsible for Client Service & Investment Management Take responsibility to seek excellent client outcomes through proactive service, management of portfolios, and suitability oversight. Lead client relationships and ensure timely, high-quality interactions, communication and documentation.
Collaborate with internal and external professional contacts to deliver holistic wealth solutions. Strong relationships with Rathbones Financial Planning, Portfolio Management and other internal services. Investment Strategy & Technical Expertise Ensure investment portfolios aligned with client objectives and market conditions.
Thorough understanding of Rathbones investment process, conduct additional research and analysis to support client requirements and outcomes. Maintain strong understanding of Rathbones proposition, commercial awareness of the wider market and clear knowledge of the regulatory framework.
Business Development & Growth Evidence growth of client book in line with firm strategy, as well as personal business development plan and pipeline of new opportunities. Refine own Rathbones pitch, being able to deliver with confidence and clarity. Demonstrate commercial awarenes...
