Associate Director - Civil CDAE - Energy

Overview

In this role you will lead end-to-end HV substation design and civil engineering on high-profile energy projects across the UK, Ireland and beyond. You’ll act as the lead CDAE Civil Engineer on National Grid projects, shaping grid-scale infrastructure from concept to energisation. You will liaise with clients, manage multidisciplinary design delivery, and mentor engineers. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HV substation design from concept to energisation
• Act as Lead CDAE Civil Engineer on National Grid projects
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary design of energy infrastructure
• Respond to technical queries from project teams
• Direct and mentor graduate engineers
• Liaise with clients and manage project delivery within time and budget constraints
• Serve as Lead Verifier on technical feasibility studies and design reports

Key requirements

• BEng (Hons) in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Chartered status or working towards chartership
• CDAE certification
• Experience with medium/high voltage grid connections and National Grid projects
