Job Description Company A local M&E building services engineering consultancy with unparalleled experience in the successful delivery of all forms of projects across the construction and real estate spheres. The services on offer range from design, TTD, dilapidations, surveys, NEC 3, decarb studies, technically advisory work and more. They operate across multiple sectors including Education, Commercial, Healthcare and MoD. Role Ensuring an understanding of project briefs.
Design and specification of all Electrical Building Services systems . Design and specification of all Electrical Building Services systems - power, earthing, lighting, life safety, telecoms, security, access control, lifts, lightning protection etc.
Carry out (and managing of others), in the production of detailed calculations using industry standard software tools including Excel, dialux, Amtech, in-house developed tools, etc. Representing the organisation at meetings with clients and contractors.
Site surveys, inspections and monitoring of site works. Report and technical note writing. Maintaining complete records and archives to company standards. Adherence to all quality, environmental and governance processes.
Qualifications/Experience Degree qualified, or equivalent qualification, in Building Services Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related subjects. Post graduate work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business Ideally have a full UK driving licence, to enable travel to sites as and when required, either as part of wider design team, or individually Experienced in the use of AutoCAD, Revit is ideal Experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word Experience with Dialux,Trimble Use knowledge of electrical systems to carry out electrical building services design Have a detailed knowledge of appropriate technical standards.
