Marks Sattin are delighted to be supporting a Regional firm of Chartered Accountants as they continue to grow their Audit team.

/n They're looking to appoint an ambitious Audit Manager who wants more than just a technical role.

/n This is an opportunity to join a 23-person Audit team, working closely with the Partner and Head of Audit, in a role where you'll have genuine ownership, client exposure and responsibility.

/n You'll manage a portfolio of predominantly owner-managed businesses, typically with turnover between £15m and £50m, with audit fees ranging from £20k-£100k.

/n You'll take responsibility for a portfolio of around £500k, but this isn't a role where you'll simply manage from a distance.

People management is particularly important. You'll play a key role in developing the team, managing performance and helping shape the next stage of the Audit function as the business goes through its restructure.

• Is an experienced Audit Manager, or a strong Assistant Manager ready to step up /n
• Has a solid audit background and strong technical grounding /n
• Enjoys working with owner-managed and entrepreneurial businesses /n
• Is confident managing client relationships and senior stakeholders /n
• Has genuine experience of managing and developing people /n
• Wants to be visible, hands-on and commercially involved /n
