This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious audit professional to take a leading role across client delivery, audit quality, team leadership and business development, working with a varied portfolio of SMEs, owner-managed businesses and larger groups.
Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee a portfolio of audit and assurance engagements Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships Deliver high-quality audits in line with UK GAAP, IFRS and professional standards Act as a trusted adviser, providing commercially focused insight to clients Identify and develop new business opportunities Lead, mentor and develop audit teams Drive audit quality, technical excellence and continuous improvement Work collaboratively with other service lines to deliver integrated client solutions Contribute to the strategic growth and development of the audit practice About You ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified Significant post-qualified external audit experience Proven experience leading audits and managing client relationships Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and auditing standards Experience working with SMEs, owner-managed businesses and/or larger groups Strong commercial awareness and business development skills Excellent leadership and communication skills Experience managing and developing audit teams RI status, or the ability and willingness to obtain RI status Entrepreneurial and proactive approach with the ambition to contribute at Partner level What's on Offer Hybrid and flexible working Competitive Partner-level package Opportunity to help grow the Solihull audit practice Significant client-facing and business development responsibility Diverse portfolio of clients and sectors Leadership and team development opportunities Supportive senior leadership environment Clear opportunity to influence the future direction of the practice Location Solihull, West Midlands Commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Sutton Coldfield, Bromsgrove and surrounding areas.
