Job Description Audit Senior, Newcastle | £38,000 – £46,000 | Hybrid Working | Career Progression Fletcher George are working with a highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Newcastle, seeking an experienced Audit Senior.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified ACA / ACCA professional looking to take the next step in their career with a supportive and forward-thinking practice. The Audit Senior Role You will play a key part in the delivery of audit and assurance services for a wide-ranging portfolio of clients across different industries.
Lead audit fieldwork and perform substantive and analytical testing Plan and complete audit assignments, ensuring files are fully documented for review Prepare statutory financial statements under UK GAAP / IFRS Identify risk areas and flag matters of concern to Managers and Partners Build client relationships and provide a high-quality service Support, coach and mentor junior team member About You ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified Experience working in audit within a UK accountancy practice Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS A collaborative team player with good communication skills Enjoys building client relationships and supporting junior colleagues What’s on Offer Salary £38,000 – £46,000 depending on experience Hybrid and flexible working arrangements 25 days holiday plus birthday leave Professional subscriptions paid A supportive and inclusive culture with clear career progression opportunities Location This role is based in Newcastle and is easily commutable from Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham, and Cramlington by public transport.
