As a Senior Associate Customer Due Diligence - Mandarin Speaking, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with AML, KYC and regulatory standards through effective monitoring and risk controls. You will conduct CDD, oversee banking operations and support regulatory reporting requirements, while driving operational excellence.

What You'll be Doing
Conduct daily transaction monitoring to ensure alerts are effectively managedIdentify potential money laundering trends and red flags to determine whether further investigations are requiredComplete CDD reviews for existing clients within the required timeframe and ensure the quality of reviews conductedEnsure all CDD reviews meet the standards of the Financial Crime and Compliance department and maintain a consistent approachLiaise with relevant internal teams regarding any discrepancies or additional information requiredResolve customer queries and issues promptlyAuthorise daily transactions and ensure operations comply with internal policies and regulationsLiaise with customers regarding Source of Wealth (SOW) and Source of Funds (SOF) as part of the ongoing CDD reviewsEnsure clear communication with customers to gather required information for compliance purposesProvide guidance in resolving complex or infrequent processes and operational challengesUndertake any other tasks when requiredMandarin speaking Senior Associate Customer Due Diligence - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed: Degree educated in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or other relevant subjectRelevant experience within Financial Services, ideally BankingDemonstrated experience in AML, KYC and CDD, including client on-boarding, periodic reviews or remediation projectsExperience in analysing complex corporate customer ownership structuresComprehensive understanding of Banking operations is preferredKnowledge in relevant legislations such as FATCA, JMLSG, AML and FCAProficient understanding of GDPR requirementsKnowledge of regulatory, legislative requirements and best practices for financial crime compliance, including sanctions, fraud, AML/CTF, ABC and other related areasExcellent English and Mandarin communication skillsAttention to detailsAnalytical skillsProblem solving skillsPlease follow us on Linkedin: We would be grateful if you could send your CV as a Word document.
