Bid Writer

A well-established main contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects is looking to appoint an experienced Bid Writer to join its growing pre-construction team. Operating across education, healthcare, commercial, industrial and public sector projects, the business has secured a strong pipeline of work through long-standing client relationships and key public sector frameworks.

With continued investment in its pre-construction function, this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in winning work across projects ranging from £2m to £20m. The Role Working closely with the Bid Manager, Estimating and Pre-Construction teams, you'll be responsible for producing compelling, high-quality tender submissions that clearly communicate the company's strengths, technical expertise and social value commitments.

This is a role for someone who can manage multiple deadlines, interpret client requirements and create engaging content that helps secure repeat business and framework opportunities. Key Responsibilities Produce high-quality written responses for PQQs, SQs and tender submissions.

Develop persuasive answers to quality questions, ensuring they meet client requirements and scoring criteria. Coordinate information from operational, commercial and technical teams to produce accurate submissions.
