BMS Project Engineer

Overview

In this role you lead BMS design, implementation and commissioning for complex projects, applying Niagara 4 and CPO Studio to deliver integrated controls. You collaborate with project teams to translate client needs into robust BMS solutions and ensure timely delivery. You’ll develop control strategies, wiring designs and documentation that support safe, energy-efficient building operations. This is a hands-on engineering role within a globally recognized automation company focused on transforming buildings.

Responsibilities

• Electronic BMS engineering, implementation and documentation
• Translate customer needs into viable BMS solutions
• Produce hardware BMS design deliverables from specs and drawings
• Support Project Manager with planning, scheduling and QA
• Develop detailed BMS designs, control strategies and integration plans for HVAC
• Manage project performance and technical execution
• Risk/opportunity development and management
• Generate BMS database and required documentation
• Create schematics for BMS panels and controls diagrams
• Sales assistance and support for project estimates

Key requirements

• Engineering degree or substantial experience in Electrical/Electronic field
• BMS/HVAC engineering experience (5+ years)
• Expertise in electronic BMS systems (hardware and software)
• Niagara Framework – design & commissioning
• Proficiency with CPO Studio for control logic and system configuration
• Solid IT infrastructure understanding and remote interconnectivity
• Organized, proactive with strong delivery discipline
• Experience with control panels design and/or Motor Control Centres
• Strong verbal and written communication for clients and teams
