Business Development Manager

Echelon Engineers is recruiting for a growing engineering and manufacturing client. They need a Business Development Manager to find and win new business on their Industrial Water Treatment platform in the UK and overseas.

The Role Generate new leads and opportunities, and grow sales Research the market to find new customers, sectors and partnerships Build and manage a network of UK and international sales agents Produce business plans, GAP analysis and sales forecasts for senior management Attend exhibitions, conferences and customer meetings in the UK and abroad Interpret customer specifications and support cost estimates and proposals About You Proven record of delivering business growth in the Industrial Water Treatment sector Engineering or manufacturing background Experienced with market research tools Confident presenting to small and large audiences Business, Engineering or Manufacturing qualification (Diploma level or above) Knowledge of filtration, softening, RO or demineralisation is a plus Requirements Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship) Full UK driving licence Willing to travel in the UK and overseas, sometimes frequently Commutable to Derby (office-based when not travelling) On Offer £50,000 – £60,000 basic £6,500 car allowance Bonus and healthcare Permanent role with a growing business Apply today with your CV, or contact Echelon Engineers for a confidential chat.
