We are one of the most sought after and respected Veterinary rehabilitation clinics in the North East.
The founder of the company is a nationally recognised leader in his field, regular lecturer for a university and various other educational establishments, an in-demand speaker at events with over 100+ attendees on a national level.
He has grown his clinic from zero to consistently being THE place to go that delivers results for the clinics clients and their owners. The Role
You will be responsible for treating a diverse hydrotherapy caseload of sub-acute and chronic canine patients in a positive and collaborative manner that delivers great results, whilst assisting the Veterinary Physiotherapist to achieve the clients goals for their pet.
Ultimately, to grow the revenue of the clinic by retaining the clients that weve got (or going to get as a result of our marketing). You will do this by creating deep and meaningful relationships with our clients and providing a world-class level of customer and clinical care that ensures canine clients get the health outcomes the owners need.
Hours 20-30hrs per week. Tasks: Communicate with clients in a way that they can confidently make the right decision about continuing with the plan of care the clinic has suggestedEnsure that clients achieve their clinical and health/lifestyle outcomes (in the time frame you set) that they are looking to achieve for their petDevelop a mutually beneficial relationship that benefits both the client and the clinicCommunicate the value of our service with the fee/price that the client will need to pay to access itEnsure that clients remain excited about the prospect of coming for Veterinary physiotherapy/hydrotherapy (and remain committed to the treatment plan that the clinic suggests)Provide a high level of customer & animal care that will cause clients to want to come back frequently and tell their friends and family about us as wellEnsure that clients complete a full plan of patient care (as agreed in the first session)Ensure that clinical notes are kept up-to-date and accurateParticipate in, contribute to, and help to develop the in-house educational training program that is provided to all therapists.
Skills Needed: Be able to communicate with clients in such a way that they can understand why the suggested plan of care is the best solution to solve their problemBe able to establish a positive rapport with canine patients & clientsCommunicate with clients in a way that they can see value in the plan of care being put to them in exchange for their time and moneyWilling and able to spot when a client may be disillusioned or confused with their progress (and likely to drop-offs)To be able to communicate in such a way that the client can confidently say yes to a full plan of careTo be able to engage with and connect with clients at a personal (yet professional) level that goes way beyond a clinical outcomeDemonstrates an understanding of what the causes are and solutions that could lead to a client/patient dropping of scheduleDemonstrates a willingness to be held accountable for performanceAbility to thrive in an environment where measurement is the driving forcebehind progress1.
Skills/Competencies Needed: Be able to hold meaningful conversations with prospective patients on the phone and in person for longer than 20 minutesBe able to answer all questions asked on the phone & in person in a such a way that makes the customer at ease and confident that our service meets their needs/aimsProvide a warm and welcoming greeting to clients/patients when they arrive in the clinicOrganisation and planning: plans and organizes, schedules in an efficient, productive manner.
