Care Assistant Support Worker

Recruiting now on behalf of a Birmingham Care Home Permanent Night Healthcare Assistant to join a small care setting based in Erdington, Birmingham. The home specialises in caring for adults with; Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Epilepsy, Mental Health conditions, Complex Needs, and individuals requiring PEG feeding. Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

Support the residents with their daily needs; Feeding, Personal care, Companionship Working in a team with a registered nurse and other healthcare professionals Deliver personalised care tailored to individual needs Support residents with PEG feeding and other nutritional needs Promote dignity, independence, and choice in daily care Maintain high standards of health & safety throughout the home Perform regular wellbeing and safety checks Assist at mealtimes – preparing snacks or providing support with feeding Use manual handling equipment safely and confidently Keep accurate records (daily logs, care charts, etc.) Build meaningful relationships with residents and team members You've got a minimum of 6 months UK care experience working in an Adult care setting. (Essential) Experience working with adults with learning disabilities or dementia. (Desirable) Reliability and good punctuality.
