Civil Engineer - Water

Overview

As a Civil Engineer in Stantec’s Water division, you will help deliver large-scale water projects across the UK & Ireland. You’ll work within a collaborative team to translate needs into feasible designs, from feasibility through to detailed design.

You’ll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and start developing leadership skills while mentoring graduates. The role offers exposure to AMP8-scale programmes and award-winning projects that make a real difference for local communities and the environment.

Responsibilities

• develop solutions from needs identification to outline and detailed design for water projects
• collaborate with other disciplines to deliver integrated designs
• support and mentor new graduates in their early careers
• produce design deliverables within required timescales and budgets

Key requirements

• degree qualified in Civil Engineering
• membership in a relevant engineering institution (ideal) and working towards chartership
• water industry experience is preferred but not essential
