Civils Lead – Major Data Centre Project Nordic Region | Data Centre Construction | Permanent Salary: Up to €130,000 depending on experience and responsibility Package Includes • All flights covered • Single - person occupancy serviced apartment • €265 per week subsistence allowance • Favourable tax situation The Opportunity Peace Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Civils Lead to join a major, large - scale Data Centre project in the Nordic region .
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading international contractor delivering critical infrastructure within one of Europe's fastest - growing construction sectors. As Civils Lead, you will take responsibility for the delivery and coordination of the project's civil and CSA packages, working closely with the wider project, commercial, planning, safety and quality teams.
You'll play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards, while managing subcontractors and maintaining programme requirements. Key Responsibilities • Lead and coordinate all Civil/CSA work packages throughout the project lifecycle. • Take ownership of day - to - day civil site operations, ensuring works progress safely and efficiently. • Work closely with the safety team to maintain the highest standards of site safety and compliance. • Manage QA/QC activities alongside the project and quality teams. • Coordinate programme requirements with the Planner, Project Manager, subcontractors and design consultants . • Monitor progress against programme and identify potential delays or delivery risks. • Support project cost tracking and forecasting in conjunction with the QS/commercial team. • Manage and monitor subcontractor performance, including progress, manpower, productivity and quality . • Chair subcontractor meetings and contribute to internal and client - facing project meetings. • Represent the civils discipline at Project Reviews, Engineering, Planning and Handover meetings . • Review drawings, setting - out information and as - built documentation. • Manage CSA snagging and ensure works are completed to the required quality standards. • Work closely with the commercial team to ensure variations and scope changes are captured and processed. • Ensure change management is appropriately documented, including potential cost and programme implications. • Support project closeout, including punch lists, QA documentation, safety files and plant/material demobilisation.
Experience & Qualifications The successful candidate will ideally have: • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline . • 10 years' experience within civil engineering, CSA or construction. • Experience delivering large - scale construction projects . • Strong knowledge of project planning, sequencing and scheduling. • A proven track record of leading site teams and managing subcontractors . • Excellent understanding of site operations, health & safety and quality control. • Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to operate effectively within a multidisciplinary project team.
Previous experience within Data Centres, Mission Critical, Advanced Technology or other major construction projects would be highly advantageous. What's On Offer? This is a significant opportunity for an experienced Civils professional looking to work on a major European data centre programme.
