Job Description Are you an experienced Class 1 Welder, Fabricator or Plater with a background in Oil & Gas, Pressure Vessels, Pipefitting, Heavy Engineering or high-integrity fabrication ?Were recruiting for a well-established international engineering business looking to add a skilled Class 1 Welder / Fabricator to its manufacturing team.

Key duties include: Reading and interpreting isometric and engineering drawingsFabricating components accurately from detailed technical drawingsWorking with both metric and imperial measurementsMaterial preparation including cutting, sawing, drilling, grinding, pipe bending and threadingCarrying out Class 1 / ISO 3834 fabrication and weldingReading and working to Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)Producing fillet, lap, corner and butt weldsWorking in accordance with ASME IX and ISO 15614Planning fabrication sequences to maintain workflow and delivery schedulesMaintaining high standards of quality, workmanship and safetyWhat Were Looking For Youll need: Proven experience as a Class 1 Welder / Fabricator / PlaterStrong fabrication and plating experienceExperience within Oil & Gas, Pressure Vessel, Pipefitting, Heavy Engineering or similarAbility to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawingsExperience working with carbon steel, stainless steel and high-nickel alloysKnowledge of welding preparation processesUnderstanding of WPS documentation and welding proceduresFull UK driving licenceYou will be expected to pass a Class 1 TIG fillet weld test as part of the recruitment process.

Experience producing welds subject to X-ray / radiographic inspection would be highly advantageous. This role would suit candidates currently working as a Class 1 Welder, TIG Welder, Coded Welder, Fabricator, Plater, Pressure Vessel Welder or Pipe Fabricator .Apply now for immediate consideration.
