Job Description Are you a Registered Nurse with strong clinical experience who is ready for more responsibility? We are looking for a Clinical Lead to join a well-established nursing home, offering £55,000 per annum and a working pattern that includes three protected supernumerary shifts each week.

This role would suit an experienced Senior Nurse, Clinical Lead or Registered Nurse who wants to progress into leadership without moving completely away from hands-on nursing. About the Position You'll play a key role in maintaining excellent clinical standards throughout the home, working alongside the Home Manager to support the nursing team and ensure residents receive high-quality, individualised care.

A major benefit of this position is the amount of protected leadership time available. Three shifts each week will be supernumerary , allowing you to focus on clinical oversight, staff development, audits and quality improvement.

Your remaining two shifts will be spent working clinically alongside the nursing team. Day-to-day responsibilities will include: Taking a lead on clinical standards and best practice across the homeProviding guidance, support and leadership to Registered Nurses and Care staffReviewing care plans, risk assessments and clinical recordsMonitoring medication practices and ensuring safe clinical proceduresCompleting audits and identifying opportunities to improve quality of careSupporting Nurses with complex clinical decisions and resident needsCoaching, mentoring and developing members of the clinical teamLiaising with GPs, external healthcare professionals and residents' familiesMaintaining high standards around safeguarding, dignity and resident wellbeingWorking alongside the Home Manager to support compliance and regulatory requirementsAbout You To be considered, you will need: Current registration as an RGN or RMNAn active UK NMC PINExperience working within a nursing home, care home or comparable settingStrong clinical knowledge and the confidence to support and lead a nursing teamA good understanding of care planning, safeguarding and clinical governancePrevious Senior Nurse or Clinical Lead experience is desirableA collaborative and approachable leadership styleHours & Shift Pattern This is a full-time position working five shifts per week , consisting of:3 supernumerary leadership shifts2 clinical/floor-based shiftsSome occasional weekend workingSalary & Benefits £55,000 per annumThree protected supernumerary shifts each weekExcellent balance between clinical and leadership responsibilitiesOngoing training and professional developmentSupport from an experienced management teamOpportunity to directly influence clinical standards within the homeLong-term career development within an established care environmentIf you're an experienced Nurse looking for a position where you'll be given the time to properly lead and develop a clinical team while still maintaining your hands-on skills, click APPLY or contact Callum at Leaders in Care on 0161 416 6283 for further information.
