Reference: HSJ921957811B_1787897040Clinical Negligence Solicitor / CILEX - BristolSalary: From 48,000Hybrid: 2 days office / 3 days homeThe RoleExcellent opportunity for a senior Solicitor or CILEX with solid claimant clinical negligence experience to join a thriving and well respected Clinical Negligence Group within a national law firm.

The firm is known for its strong reputation in claimant litigation, long standing partnerships with major insurers and membership organisations, and a consistent presence in legal rankings. Working solely on claimant clinical negligence matters, you will manage a varied and often complex caseload, including high value claims both pre and post issue.

Alongside running your own files, you will play a key role in supervising and mentoring a small team of motivated case handlers. Your week will be split between home working and attending the Bristol office two days per week.

Duties/Responsibilities include: Managing your own caseload of complex, litigated clinical negligence claimsSupervising and supporting case handlers under the direction of the Group LeaderDelivering structured training, case planning and weekly risk assessment sessionsConducting 1 2 1 supervision and providing ad hoc guidanceParticipating in team training, marketing and wider departmental activitiesCandidate RequirementsThis is a busy, high performing team, so we're looking for someone confident, organised and proactive.

You will bring: Strong claimant clinical negligence experience with a proven litigation backgroundAbility to manage complex, high value claims from issue through to resolutionExperience supervising, coaching or mentoring junior team membersExcellent communication skills and the ability to deal sensitively with clients and professionally with expertsStrong organisational skills and a pragmatic, solutions focused approachGood working knowledge of CPR and clinical negligence lawProficient IT skills and confidence managing your own workloadExperience with Legal Expense Insurance, publicly funded matters or CFA arrangements would be advantageous.
