CNC Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor

CNC Manufacturing Engineer / Supervisor Rotherham Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Manufacturing Engineer / Supervisor to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Rotherham.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day machining operations, developing manufacturing processes, improving efficiencies, and leading a team of CNC and manual machinists.

Working closely with senior production leadership, you will play a key role in ensuring production targets are achieved while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the department. Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of production schedules and operational targets.

Lead, coach and support a team of CNC and manual machinists. Ensure operators have the tools, equipment and information required to complete work efficiently. Develop, review and improve manufacturing methods and machining processes.

Design and implement work-holding solutions. Review CAD models and extract manufacturing information. Create, edit, verify and simulate CNC programs. Provide technical support and process prove-out assistance on the shop floor.

Produce and maintain technical documentation including SOPs, tooling sheets and inspection reports. Support continuous improvement activities and lean manufacturing initiatives. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve technical challenges.

Promote high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping throughout the department. About You To be successful in this role, you will have a strong machining background combined with supervisory or team leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. Essential Skills
