CNC Setter Operator

CNC Setter Operator Protec Group Ltd | Leamington Spa | Full-time | £35,000–£40,000 DOE Protec Group is looking for an experienced CNC Setter Operator to join our manufacturing team in Leamington Spa. You will be working with Hurco 3-axis and 5-axis machining centres , producing high-quality metallic components to tight tolerances.

Key responsibilities Set and operate Hurco 3-axis and 5-axis machining centres Work from engineering drawings and specifications Select tooling and set feeds, speeds and machine reference points Inspect finished components using verniers, micrometres and gauges Monitor quality and tolerances throughout production Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance Identify faults and make appropriate adjustments Work closely with Production and Quality to meet deadlines Maintain a clean and safe working environment What we are looking for Previous CNC setting and operating experience Experience with Hurco machinery is preferred Experience producing precision metallic components Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T Good understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds and tolerances Strong attention to detail and a reliable approach Programming knowledge and experience with Fusion 360 or other CAD/CAM software would be advantageous.

Hours and benefits Monday to Thursday: 8:30am–5:00pm Friday: 8:30am–3:30pm £35,000–£40,000 DOE 25 days' holiday Your birthday off Early finish every Friday Permanent full-time role
