CNC Setter Operator

CNC Setter Operator Protec Group Ltd | Leamington Spa | Full-time | £35,000–£40,000 DOE

Protec Group is looking for an experienced CNC Setter Operator to join our manufacturing team in Leamington Spa.

You will be working with Hurco 3-axis and 5-axis machining centres , producing high-quality metallic components to tight tolerances.

• Key responsibilities Set and operate Hurco 3-axis and 5-axis machining centres
• Work from engineering drawings and specifications
• Select tooling and set feeds, speeds and machine reference points
• Inspect finished components using verniers, micrometres and gauges
• Monitor quality and tolerances throughout production
• Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance
• Identify faults and make appropriate adjustments
• Work closely with Production and Quality to meet deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• What we are looking for Previous CNC setting and operating experience
• Experience with Hurco machinery is preferred
• Experience producing precision metallic components
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T
• Good understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds and tolerances
• Strong attention to detail and a reliable approach

Programming knowledge and experience with Fusion 360 or other CAD/CAM software would be advantageous.

• Hours and benefits Monday to Thursday: 8:30am–5:00pm
• Friday: 8:30am–3:30pm
• £35,000–£40,000 DOE
