This is an ideal role for a solicitor looking to develop their career in contentious construction law, working on a broad range of high-quality disputes and advisory matters within a collaborative and supportive team. You will have the opportunity to advise clients on:Construction and engineering disputesAdjudications, litigation and dispute resolutionPre-action protocol mattersMediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolutionStrategic and commercially focused construction adviceWhile the role has a strong contentious focus, there is also the option to gain experience in non-contentious construction work if this is of interest.
You'll work with an established client base that includes:National developers and contractorsMajor housebuildersHousing associations and registered providersBusinesses operating across a range of construction sectorsThis position offers excellent exposure to complex work, hands-on responsibility and regular client interaction from an early stage.
Candidate RequirementsQualified Solicitor (NQ - 3 years PQE)Previous construction law experience, whether gained in a specialist team or through a construction seat during trainingA genuine interest in contentious construction mattersAbility to manage your workload effectively with appropriate supervisionStrong communication and relationship-building skillsEnthusiastic team player with a proactive attitudeWhy Join?
