An established and highly respected demolition and waste management subcontractor based in Nottingham is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects delivered for leading Tier 1 principal contractors.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Contracts Manager with a background in demolition, enabling works, construction, or civil engineering who is looking to join a growing business with a strong reputation in the industry.

The RoleWorking from the Nottingham office with regular site visits, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of projects valued at around 400,000, typically running for approximately 3 months. Key responsibilities include:Managing multiple demolition and construction projects from mobilisation through to completionCoordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clientsEnsuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budgetConducting regular site visits to monitor progress and performanceBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with Tier 1 contractor clientsManaging project programmes, resources, and commercial performanceEnsuring compliance with all health and safety legislation and company proceduresProducing project reports and attending client meetingsSupporting operational planning and business growth activitiesWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Senior Site Manager, or Operations ManagerBackground in demolition highly desirable, although applicants from a wider construction sector will also be consideredStrong client-facing and stakeholder management skillsExperience managing projects from inception to completionGood commercial awareness and organisational skillsComputer literate with experience using Microsoft Office and project management systemsSMSTS or SSSTS qualification essentialFull UK Driving LicenceWhat's on Offer?
