Our Client is a leading global hedge fund offering a dynamic, collaborative environment with a strong focus on performance, innovation, and risk management. Responsibilities Support the day-to-day operation of the Compliance Control Room.
Review requests relating to information barriers, restricted lists, conflicts, and employee activities. Assess and escalate potential compliance incidents and breaches. Provide advice on compliance policies, regulatory requirements, and information barriers.
Maintain accurate records, approvals, and audit trails. Support reporting, monitoring, and certification processes. Assist with policy enhancements and process improvement initiatives. Partner with Compliance, Legal, Risk, HR, and business teams on key projects.
Requirements Degree educated, ideally in Finance, Business, Economics, Law, or a related field. Compliance experience within a financial services environment. Exposure to Control Room, market conduct, surveillance, or regulatory compliance activities.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Proactive and able to work independently. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of financial markets and products is advantageous.
