p strong About the Role /strong /p p The prime role of the Conveyancing Executive / Solicitor is to earn fees by handling a mixed caseload of residential Conveyancing matters with advice, close guidance and direct supervision from a Solicitor.
You are expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative, whilst communicating effectively with partners, colleagues, and clients. /p p br /p p strong Person Specification Requirements /strong /p ul li Experienced Conveyancing Executive or Qualified Solicitor /li li Minimum 3 years’ experience in Residential Conveyancing (or equivalent) /li li Experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload, including sales, purchases, and re‑mortgages /li li Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines /li li Good working knowledge of conveyancing procedures and compliance requirements (AML / KYC) /li li Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues /li li Professional, client‑focused, and commercially aware /li li Pro‑active, organised, and able to work with supervision /li li Commitment to confidentiality, regulatory compliance, and ongoing professional development /li /ul p br /p p strong Key Responsibilities /strong /p ul li Responsible for earning fees by actively working towards individual and departmental targets and objectives as set by HOD. /li li Responsible for the effective management and advisory service of all aspects of allocated Residential Conveyancing Matters, including but not limited to: /li /ul p -Freehold and Leasehold /p p -Sale and Purchase /p p -Re-mortgages /p ul li Arrange and attend meetings with clients ensuring a professional service and excellent client care standards. /li li Negotiate with clients and other professionals to secure agreed objectives. /li li Attend court and/or any other off-site requirements when needed. /li li Monitoring, actioning, and updating various electronic portals. /li li Maintaining good file management including closure of files as soon as reasonably practicable to ensure a true live file count. /li li Research and analyse documents and case law to ensure the accuracy of advice and procedure. /li li Keep up to date with changes and developments in the law by reading journals and law reports. /li li Be actively involved in ensuring compliance with CQS by undertaking yearly examination and regular training. /li li Effective implementation of anti-money laundering legislation and KYC, procedures, and compliance. /li li Provide advice and guidance to other employees throughout the Firm. /li li Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with clients ensuring regular contact throughout the transaction ultimately delivering an outstanding client experience. /li li Adhering to process and procedures as directed by the HOD. /li li Undertake specific training when required and have overall responsibility towards self-development. /li li Be actively involved in ensuring compliance in Lexcel and other standards. /li li Ensure the confidentiality of all the firm’s and client’s documentation and information by complying with GDPR. /li li Be actively involved in business development activities and networking. /li li Undertake any other duties as required by the Directors as necessary for other fee earners and employees. /li /ul p br /p p strong Benefits and Remuneration /strong /p ul li Competitive salary /li li 25 Days Holiday plus public bank holidays (increasing up to 30 with length of service) /li li Additional Birthday Holiday /li li Optional 1 day per week home working /li li Free parking /li li Staff social and team-building events /li li Enhanced maternity and paternity leave /li li Auto-enrolment workplace pension /li li Professional development and training opportunities, including webinars /li li Paid study leave /li li Practicing certificate renewed annually /li li Breakfast clubs /li li Medicash /li li Free eye tests /li li Employee recognition scheme /li li Performance-based bonus scheme /li li Friendly, supportive, team environment /li li Interesting and meaningful work /li li A wealth of experienced solicitors to help guide your career /li /ul p em Terms and Conditions apply /em /p p br /p
