Court of Protection Solicitor

Court of Protection Solicitor Location: Altrincham, Cheshire An established and highly regarded law firm based in Altrincham is looking to recruit a Court of Protection Solicitor (2 PQE) to join its growing specialist team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in Court of Protection work who is looking to develop their career within a supportive, client-focused firm. The Role Court of Protection Solicitor to handle a varied caseload of Court of Protection matters, advising and supporting clients and their families on a range of issues relating to property, financial affairs and welfare.

Your responsibilities will include

Court of Protection Solicitor to own caseload of Court of Protection matters Advising deputies, attorneys, families and other professionals Preparing and submitting applications to the Court of Protection Dealing with deputyship and property and financial affairs matters Preparing annual deputy reports and financial accounts Assisting with complex and sensitive client matters Liaising with the Court of Protection, OPG and other relevant organisations Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and professional contacts About You The successful candidate will ideally have: 2 years' PQE with relevant Court of Protection experience A good understanding of Court of Protection procedures and deputyship work Excellent organisational and time-management skills Court of Protection Solicitor with strong attention to detail The ability to manage a caseload independently while working as part of a wider team Excellent communication and client-care skills A genuine interest in working with clients and families who may require additional support Applications are also welcomed from candidates with a broader private client background who have gained meaningful Court of Protection experience and are looking to specialise further.
