Data Cabling Engineer Hertfordshire Location: Hertfordshire Sector: Education Job Type: Contract Bauhaus Recruitment is looking for experienced Data Cabling Engineers for education projects across Hertfordshire. The work will involve installing and upgrading structured cabling and Wi-Fi infrastructure within schools and other education settings.
Duties will include: Installing Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a cabling Installing and replacing wireless access points Cable pulling, dressing and containment Terminating outlets and patch panels Testing, labelling and fault-finding Cabinet work and patching Working professionally within education environments
Requirements
Previous data cabling experience CSCS or ECS card preferred Own tools and PPE Good testing and termination skills Reliable and comfortable working within schools Full UK driving licence and own transport preferred There will be opportunities across different education sites, so flexibility to travel throughout Hertfordshire is important.
