Data Scientist

Overview

Lead a hands-on data science effort in a financial services analytics project, focused on predicting customer engagement from marketing images. You will own end-to-end delivery—from model building to deployment support—while communicating insights to stakeholders. The role combines model development with explainability and a simple internal UI to empower non-technical users. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape marketing analytics with image data and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine a predictive model using image data and historical engagement metrics
• Identify image characteristics that influence customer behavior
• Implement model explainability using SHAP, LIME, and feature importance
• Create a simple internal UI (Dash, Streamlit, or Flask) for stakeholders to explore insights
• Present findings and guide internal technical decision-making
• Enable deployment teams to operationalise the solution

Key requirements

• Expert-level Python (Pandas, modelling libraries such as scikit-learn)
• SQL
• AWS cloud experience
• Proven end-to-end ownership of data science solutions
• Model explainability (SHAP, LIME, feature importance)
• Ability to build simple dashboards or web apps (Streamlit, Dash, or Flask)
