Domestic Violence Support Worker

Belfast and Lisburn Womens Aid provides a range of support and accommodation services for women and children experiencing domestic violence. Were currently looking for passionate, like-minded individuals to join our team and are seeking to recruit for the following post. Domestic Violence Support Worker Domestic Violence Support Workers provide emotional and practical support for women and their children who are experiencing or have experienced domestic violence. This includes working with women living in refuge, moving on from refuge and women living in the community. We have 2 full-time vacancies as follows: Ref: DVSW08/26 North Belfast 37.5 hours per week Permanent Ref: DVSWMC08/26 South Belfast 37.5 hours per week Temporary Maternity Cover (6-12 months) Starting salary is £27,254 per annum (NJC scale points 9-20). We provide a range of support and accommodation services for women and children experiencing domestic abuse.
