Belfast and Lisburn Womens Aid provides a range of support and accommodation services for women and children experiencing domestic violence. Were currently looking for passionate, like-minded individuals to join our team and are seeking to recruit for the following post. Domestic Violence Support Worker (with Child Worker responsibilities) The successful candidate will provide emotional and practical support for women and their children who are experiencing or have experienced domestic violence. This includes working with women and children living in refuge, moving on from refuge, and living in the community. Work with children in refuge will include organising activities for groups of children in a playroom setting whilst also providing relevant and tailored support to individual children. We have 1 part-time vacancy as follows: Ref: DVSW/CW08/26 Lisburn 20 hours per week Permanent Starting salary is £27,254 per annum pro-rata (NJC scale points 9-20). Newly qualified social workers wishing to complete their AYE are also welcome to apply. We provide a range of support and accommodation services for women and children experiencing domestic abuse.
