This role is ideal for a solicitor or associate-level lawyer who can expect to join a high-performing, friendly, and sector-leading team at the heart of the firm's regulatory and compliance work.

About the RoleYou'll advise independent schools, school groups and governing bodies on a broad range of education and compliance matters, including: Admissions, exclusions and appealsStudent behaviour and disciplinary issuesSafeguarding, SEN and equality lawComplaints, claims and tribunal mattersRegulatory compliance and inspectionsYou'll also help schools manage reputation-sensitive incidents, from safeguarding issues to parental disputes, providing calm, strategic and effective support when it matters most.

Working closely with senior lawyers, you'll help lead and supervise a talented team, contribute to strategic development, and play a key part in shaping how schools respond to the ever-changing legal and political landscape.

You'll bring: Proven experience in education law, ideally with independent schoolsA confident, professional approach to sensitive and high-profile mattersStrong communication skills and a pragmatic mindsetThe ability to manage both contentious and non-contentious workOur client are offering a hybrid working model with flexibility in their modern offices in Bristol, London.
