Electrical Engineer - Power Networks Location: Belfast Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent VANRATH are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a major infrastructure organisation in Belfast.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a lead role in the development and management of HV and LV electrical infrastructure, supporting major capital projects, asset management and energy efficiency initiatives across a large and complex estate.

The Role Lead the development of HV and LV electrical infrastructure in line with long-term strategic plans. Provide technical engineering expertise across electrical infrastructure and major capital projects. Develop and maintain electrical power capacity and capability models to support future development.

Lead electrical and M&E projects from design and procurement through to construction, commissioning and handover. Support the preparation of technical specifications, tender documentation and procurement activities. Manage and develop the organisation's electricity metering network, supporting energy management and commercial objectives.

Identify and deliver opportunities for energy efficiency and cost reduction. Ensure electrical safety, legislative compliance and engineering standards are maintained across all projects. Work closely with internal teams, contractors, consultants and other key stakeholders.

Support the development of capital budgets and ensure projects are delivered within agreed financial parameters. About You Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering. Chartered Engineer status. Minimum 5 years' experience delivering engineering or infrastructure projects.

Strong understanding of project and asset management processes. Experience with procurement, tender documentation and Conditions of Contract. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how technical decisions impact business performance.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and provide technical leadership.

Full driving licence. Experience within port, estate or large-scale infrastructure environments would be highly advantageous.
