Overview
In this Electrical Supervisor role, you lead daily electrical installation activities on London projects, upholding safety, quality, and programme targets. You work closely with project leadership and multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate materials, permits, and interfaces, ensuring smooth handovers and successful commissioning. You’ll drive site standards, deliver toolbox talks, and report progress to management, contributing to a safe, high-quality delivery culture. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily electrical installation activities and allocate labour effectively
- Ensure works are completed safely and in line with drawings, specifications and approved RAMS
- Monitor productivity, workmanship and progress against short-term targets
- Coordinate materials, access, permits and interfaces with other trades
- Carry out inspections, complete quality records and manage defects or snagging
- Deliver task briefings and toolbox talks and reinforce site standards
- Report progress, constraints and resource requirements to site management
- Support testing, commissioning and system handover
Key requirements
- Proven supervisory experience within electrical installation or maintenance environments
- Strong practical knowledge, with the ability to read drawings and coordinate daily work
- Good understanding of health and safety, quality inspections and productivity control
- Relevant trade qualification and supervisory certification preferred
- Good understanding of construction health and safety, quality assurance and project controls
- Ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to travel to and work from the London location as required
