Job Description Electrical Maintenance Engineer Brindley Place, BirminghamSalary: Up to £42,000 per annum + BenefitsFull Time | Permanent | Static SiteAbout the Role Atlas Workplace Services is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our on-site engineering team at Brindley Place, Birmingham.
This is a static site role responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a prestigious commercial property. While the role has a strong electrical bias, the successful candidate will be comfortable supporting a range of general building services maintenance activities and working collaboratively within a multi-skilled engineering team.
You will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the building, delivering exceptional service standards and maintaining excellent relationships with client stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities in line with contractual requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).Undertake minor works and repairs across electrical and building services systems.
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Provide technical support, advice, and guidance to clients, customers, and colleagues. Maintain clear and proactive communication with the site team and client representatives.
Support the delivery of a first-class facilities maintenance service, with a focus on customer satisfaction. Produce accurate information relating to labour, materials, and resource requirements for minor works quotations.
Liaise with Lead Engineers, Managers, Support Teams, and specialist subcontractors to ensure works are completed on time and to the required standard. Accurately update the Maximo CAFM system and ensure all work activities are correctly recorded.
Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and colleagues across the site. Take ownership of work quality and continually strive to improve service delivery. Participate in the site's out-of-hours call-out rota when required.
Minimum Qualifications, Certifications and Training required City & Guilds or equivalent qualificationsCity & Guilds BS7671 18th Edition Wiring RegulationsCity & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspect Electrical Qualification or equivalent (Desirable)Full Driving LicenseEssential Knowledge, Skills and Experience for this role Good understanding of modern office software.
Experience of working with asset/work management systems such as MAXIMO / CAFM systems on Android tablets.2 years previous experience within similar environment and in particular across area multi sites and multi discipline service delivery.1 years experience in customer facing outsourcing environment.
