Reed Further Education work with colleges, prisons, universities and training providers across the UK, helping deliver high-quality education and training to learners. Day to Day of the Role Deliver a newly developed Occupational Studies/Occupational Skills curriculum.

Plan and prepare engaging lessons independently. Create and adapt learning resources where limited materials currently exist. Support learners with a range of educational needs and abilities. Deliver vocational and employability-focused learning.

Assess learner progress and provide feedback. Work with curriculum managers to support programme development. Maintain learner records and follow safeguarding procedures. Adapt to a curriculum that is evolving on a week-by-week basis.

Requirements Experience within Further Education, Foundation Learning, Employability, SEND or Life Skills provision. Ability to plan lessons and develop learning materials independently. Experience delivering vocational, employability, independent living or preparation for adulthood programmes.

Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills. Availability at short notice would be advantageous. Teaching qualification desirable but not essential. All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will be subject to referencing and DBS checks.
