Employment Solicitor (3 Years PQE) Orpington, Kent | Hybrid Working Available | Established Employment Team An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded regional law firm with a strong reputation across Kent and the South East.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a successful, partner-led Employment team advising both employers and employees on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The firm offers high-quality work, genuine client contact and a collaborative environment where career progression is actively encouraged.
The Role You will handle a diverse caseload of employment matters and work closely with colleagues across other specialist departments to deliver practical, commercially focused advice. The work will include: Employment Tribunal claims Workplace disputes and litigation Settlement Agreements TUPE matters Disciplinary and grievance procedures Employment contracts and staff handbooks HR policies and procedures Redundancy and restructuring advice Mediation and dispute resolution This role offers an excellent mix of employer and employee work, with exposure to a varied client base ranging from individuals to SMEs and established businesses.
Key Responsibilities Meeting clients and taking instructions Providing clear and commercially focused legal advice Managing employment matters from inception to conclusion Drafting and reviewing employment documentation Keeping clients informed on developments and case progress Maintaining accurate file management and compliance records Resolving client queries promptly and professionally Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards Supporting marketing, networking and business development activities About You To be considered for this opportunity,
you will
Be a qualified Solicitor with 3 years' PQE in Employment Law Have experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters Be confident managing your own caseload Possess excellent communication and client-care skills Demonstrate strong technical ability and commercial awareness Be proactive, organised and capable of working independently Thrive within a collaborative team environment Have an interest in business development and relationship building What's on Offer?
