We're excited to be partnered with a leading construction and infrastructure business on an exciting opportunity for an Environmental & Sustainability Advisor to join their growing team across the Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity for an environmental professional with around 1 year's experience who wants to take the next step in their career and gain hands-on exposure to a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects - from major city-centre developments to highways, drainage, sewage treatment works and a major manufacturing extension.

You'll be out on site, working closely with project teams and playing a key role in ensuring environmental and sustainability standards are maintained across a varied and exciting project portfolio.

What you'll be doing

Make an impact on site – Provide hands-on environmental support, carrying out inspections and helping project teams stay compliant and environmentally focused. Work on major projects – Get involved across Birmingham, Coventry, Derby and Leicester, with exposure to high-profile infrastructure and construction schemes.

Own the data – Collate, manage and interpret environmental and sustainability data to support effective project reporting and decision-making. Be the eyes on the ground – Conduct site inspections, identify environmental risks and help drive practical solutions across active construction environments.

Build valuable experience – Work alongside experienced project and environmental professionals, developing your knowledge across multiple sectors and project types. Who they're looking for: Some experience under your belt – Ideally around a year's environmental or sustainability experience within construction, infrastructure or a similar environment.

Site-ready attitude – Someone comfortable being on site full-time and able to work independently for several days when required. Practical environmental knowledge – A solid understanding of environmental principles, compliance and construction impacts is key.

Driven to develop – An ambitious, proactive individual who wants to build a long-term career in environmental and sustainability within construction. Ready for variety – Someone based within roughly an hour of Birmingham/Coventry who is happy to travel across the Midlands, with occasional trips further afield.

Working hours are 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday, and the role is fully site-based with flexibility to manage your diary across projects
