Equities Technology (Low Latency Developer) - JAVA OR C++

Overview

In this role you will contribute to the Global Market Data Platform, evolving its functionality to support the Global Equities business. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver low-latency market data capabilities, learn the Equity Trading domain, and implement interfaces with traders and production support. The position offers opportunities to tackle real-world performance challenges and shape critical market-data systems at scale. This role combines hands-on development with collaboration across technology and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop new functionality for the Global Market Data Platform
• Enhance and maintain low-latency market data systems
• Coordinate with Exchange changes impacting the platform
• Collaborate with Equity Trading Desk and production support to diagnose issues
• Support existing market data applications and clients
• Learn the Equity Trading business and improve system performance

Key requirements

• Significant experience with Java OR C++
• Experience with Microservices architecture is a plus
• Knowledge of ultra-low latency market data platforms is advantageous
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a team setting
• Good communication with traders, production support, and colleagues
• Solid understanding of network protocols – Multicast/TCP/IP
