The firm is looking to strengthen its Family Department in Huddersfield by appointing an experienced Solicitor with 5 years PQE to manage a varied caseload including divorce, private children matters, non-molestation orders and financial relief cases.

Key Responsibilities Manage a varied caseload including divorce, private children matters, non-molestation orders and financial relief cases Handle files independently, including taking over ongoing matters Attend court for directions hearings, first appointments and FDRs Draft legal documentation and liaise effectively with clients and third parties Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements, including Legal Aid Agency rules and the Solicitors Act Support and supervise junior colleagues, including conducting file reviews Person Specification Qualified Family Solicitor with 5 years PQE (or equivalent experience) Strong experience handling a broad range of family law matters including divorce, children, financial disputes and domestic abuse Experience with TOLATA matters is advantageous Excellent client care skills and strong drafting ability Confident working with legal aid procedures and billing requirements Ability to supervise junior fee earners and meet LAA supervisor criteria Commercial awareness and the ability to contribute to business development is desirable What's on Offer?
