Job Description Field Service TechnicianUp to £40,000Saffron Walden, South CambridgeshireMC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a global leader in energy and power generation technologies to recruit a home based Field Service Technician / Engine Maintenance Technician to join their expanding UK service team.
This is a field-based role covering a region including sites from the North London to Thetford, supporting the maintenance and servicing of large gas engines used in CHP and renewable energy applications. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across customer sitesPerform mechanical and electrical service, repair, and commissioning on large gas enginesConduct engine overhauls, rebuilds, and diagnosticsMaintain service records and complete detailed job reportsAdhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards while working on-siteParticipating in a call out rotaOther duties as requiredTo be considered for this role you should have: Proven experience working on reciprocating engines, gas engines, CHP generators or heavy engineering equipmentRecognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (electrical preferred)Electrical and mechanical maintenance skills (training can be provided)Flexible approach to travel and working on customer sitesFull UK driving licenceThis is an exciting opportunity to join a leading business with huge growth potential.
