Finance Business Partner

CompanyThis is an expanding energy consultancy business based in London. They manage national energy grids, ensuring compliance with market rules. Operating at the heart of the energy sector, they ensure the market runs accurately and smoothly.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a qualified Finance Business Partner to join their high-calibre finance department. RoleReporting into the Head of FP&A, the Finance Business Partner will support in several key commercial duties covering the forecasting & budgeting, investment appraisals, financial analysis and regular contact with stakeholders.

Responsibilities include: Partner with business units to provide financial insight, challenge, and guidanceLead budgeting, forecasting, and in-year financial managementProvide clear analysis to support senior leadership and operational decision-makingBuild financial models and scenarios for business cases and projectsOversee project accounting, cost tracking, and financial governanceIdentify financial risks and opportunities to improve business performanceEnhance management reporting and drive finance process improvementsSupport finance systems and resolve finance-related queries across the organisationProfileThe ideal profile for this Finance Business Partner position, should have the following: Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with proven commercial finance experience built in industryPractical experience in business partnering and engaging with stakeholdersEvidence of financial analysis, and dealing with business cases / investment appraisalsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalShorter notice periods would be strongly preferred!
